FSB officers prevented a terrorist attack prepared by a resident of the Samara region on the Kuibyshev railroad.
It turned out that the Samara resident was a supporter of the Russian Freedom Legion, a banned extremist organization.
The suspect in preparation for a terrorist attack was detained on November 15. During a search at his place of residence, bottles with incendiary mixture, gadgets and means of communication with his handlers were seized.
During interrogation, the Samara resident did not deny the connection with the terrorist organization and his criminal intentions.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of preparation for a terrorist act.
The suspect is in custody.
Earlier, a resident of Ryazan was detained for the terrorist attack on behalf of the Ukrainian security services. A suspect in the preparation of a terrorist attack on the railroad in Moscow was also detained.
