In the emirate city of Ajman (northern United Arab Emirates), a fire in a high-rise building was extinguished.
According to the electronic publication Ajman News, the fire engulfed all the floors of the Ajman One Tower in the Abraj Ajman complex. In this case, one side of the 36-story skyscraper burned out entirely. The progress of elimination of the complex fire was supervised by the head of the Ajman Civil Defense Jasem al-Marzuki and General Abdallah al-Matrushi, in charge of police operations of the Ajman Police Department Directorate.
Authorities have not yet commented officially on the deaths and casualties in the fire.
Recall that there was already a large-scale fire in this apartment complex in 2016. The complex itself includes twelve 36-story buildings with 3,000 apartments each.
Earlier it became known that on Monday, June 26, a 14-year-old teenager died in a Moscow hospital after being doused with flammable liquid and set on fire on a playground in South Butovo.
