The accident occurred on the flight Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky - Moscow.
During a flight from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Moscow, the plane hit a zone of strong and unexpected turbulence, or so-called "clear-sky turbulence", Aeroflot's press service said. According to the company, one of the passengers was injured as a result of this incident.
The fact is that she was not in her seat at the moment of turbulence. Then flight attendants together with a passenger doctor gave her first aid, the press service noted.
After landing in Moscow, the woman refused additional help from medical personnel who arrived on board.
Aeroflot representatives emphasized that such "clear sky turbulence" is difficult to predict because of its nature.
It should be recalled that the head of the Ministry of Health of Kamchatka, Alexander Gashkov, helped the passenger.
