Polish police reported on Thursday, November 25, that the situation at the center for migrants detained for illegally staying in the country, who rioted, has been stabilized. It is known that there are 600 migrants in the center. One hundred of them aggressively demanded their release, shouting "Freedom!" and chanting other slogans. More than 500 Polish police officers were sent to support the border guards.

"After an attempt to force the fence of the guarded center in Wędzyń, where there are more than 600 migrants, the situation has stabilized. None of these people managed to escape. More than 500 police officers are already involved in the action to support the border guards," TASS quoted the Polish law enforcement authorities as saying.

Recall that the center for illegal migrants in Wędzyń houses mainly citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan, it was established in September this year, when the number of refugees arriving in Poland through the border with Belarus increased sharply.
