The State Duma proposed to create a GOST for quests after the tragedy in Makhachkala

Russia wants to develop a state standard (GOST) regulating the organization of quests. The proposal came from State Duma deputy Ekaterina Stenyakina, who drew attention to the need for such regulation after the tragic deaths of two girls during a quest in Makhachkala.

Stenyakina noted that the safety of consumers of entertainment services should be guaranteed. According to the parliamentarian, there is currently a standard only for quests involving children. However, clear rules for organizing quests for adults are also needed.

Stenyakina emphasized that at the moment there are no regulatory standards, which creates risks for citizens participating in quests. Consumers should trust the services provided and not engage in checking the availability of necessary safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and working fire alarms, summarized the MP on “Radio KP”.

Earlier MP Kolunov called for an urgent ban on horror quests after the fire in Makhachkala.
