Law enforcers interrupted a “ritual” in the Leningrad region, where two people were buried alive in the ground. The organizers of the event have been detained, the region's law enforcement agencies said.
It said that in the Priozersky district of Lenoblast, police officers found two people wrapped in rags in the ground and buried in graves.
“Law enforcers demanded from the organizers to dig up the buried alive, after which they made sure they were in normal health,” a source in the law enforcement agency told the RIA Novosti publication.
According to his data, there were about 15 people at the “satanic feast”, each of them paid the “shaman” from 6 to 9 thousand rubles for this rite.
A man and a woman who organized the “event” were taken to the police. At the moment, the question of initiating criminal proceedings against them for the creation of an organization that infringes on the personality and rights of citizens (Article 239 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) is being decided, the agency said.
The organizers face up to seven years of imprisonment under this article.
