According to Al Jazeera TV, traces of the tragedy were found near a hospital in the town of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip. According to local media reports, the bodies were buried by the Israeli military, which sought to hide the traces of its crimes in the region.

Ismail al-Tawabta, head of the Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip, confirmed the presence of execution marks on some of the bodies.

The functionary demanded a thorough international investigation into the blatant incident of violence against civilians in the Palestinian enclave. The mass graves contained the bodies of women, children and young men. Activities to dismantle the graves continue.

Recall that the Israeli army came to the Khan Younis neighborhood (south of the Gaza Strip) last December. The IDF reported the elimination of many Hamas militants in the course of 30 tunnel raids on the group's mines.

Earlier this month, Tel Aviv withdrew the 98th Division from Khan Younis, noting a decrease in the intensity of fighting in the region.

Earlier it became known that Biden forbade the Israelis to attack Haifa.
