Eight players of the Ghana Youth League died as a result of an accident - a bus with footballers fell into the river.
In Ghana, eight youth league players died as a result of an accident that occurred on the evening of September 19.
It was established that the bus driver, following the planned route in the Ashanti region, lost control, as a result of which the vehicle fell into the river.
Six players died on the spot, two more died in the hospital. Four players are currently in serious condition.
After the accident, another 24 people were hospitalized, their injuries do not threaten life.
On the Sports World Ghana portal, it is noted that the team went to register to participate in the youth football league.
