Head of Tukayevsky district Fail Kamayev was sent to a temporary detention center for two days after interrogation.
This was told to KazanFirst publication in law enforcement agencies.
The official is suspected of receiving a bribe. The investigation believes that in 2022 Fail Kamaev received from various firms remuneration in the amount of 1.3 million rubles for assistance in the conclusion of contractual agreements for the performance of construction work at various sites on the territory of the district in Tatarstan.
A criminal case was initiated in connection with this. Fail Kamaev may be imprisoned for up to 15 years. An investigation is underway.
