The representative of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for Moscow, Yulia Ivanova, said that the incident occurred on the evening of Thursday, February 17, at the Tulskaya Moscow metro station on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line.

She clarified that one of the passengers responded to the legitimate demands of law enforcement officers to proceed to the police room in order to establish his identity, answered with a categorical refusal, then began to push and wave his arms at the police.

According to Ivanova, the second suspect deliberately kicked one law enforcement officer on the body, and inflicted several blows on the head to another, after which he disappeared.

The 22-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene. In the near future, investigations will be carried out with him. The search for the second young man is currently underway. A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Use of violence against a representative of the authorities”, violators of which face up to five years in prison.
