The Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Krasnodar Krai commented on the accident with a minibus. The cause of the accident was the driver's lack of sleep.
There were 19 people in the passenger compartment of the vehicle at the time of the derailment. The accident occurred around 04:00 Moscow time near the farm Tarusino on the highway Novorossiysk - Kerch.
“(...) overturned minibus Volkswagen Transporter, in which there were 19 passengers. All survived, the number of injured is specified”, - specified in the Department.
A little later there was information that 7 people turned to doctors for help.
Presumably, the 56-year-old driver fell asleep while driving the minibus. The trip was not official and was carried out by the perpetrator of the accident in private. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier it became known that in Tuapse there was a traffic accident with victims.
