“Forest” troop is detained in Belarus

Various weapons, a white-red-white flag and others were seized from the participants who are from 16 to 22 years old.

Police detained a group of "forest troop" of six young people near Mogilev, according to Olga Chemodanova, press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

The leader of the troop is the administrator of the Mogilev Partisans community - community members organized training in street fighting, fighting in the woods, occupation and assault mountaineering. They published videos from training on social networks.

Strikeball and pneumatic weapons, knives, body armor, a white-red-white flag, clothes with “Pagonya” chevrons and Ukrainian symbols and other objects were seized from the troop.

Chemodanova also reports that participants are from 16 to 22 years old. A criminal proceeding has been instituted against them. The police are identifying other participants.

On their community page, the participants say they do not have real weapons and are not going to assault anything, as well as train any militia. They are engaged in military affairs, because they like it.
