Law enforcers in St. Petersburg opened another criminal case after a bus fell into the Moika River. This time it was the general director of the transportation company. It turned out. That investigators suspect him of falsifying the unified state register of legal entities. This was learned during the investigation of a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.

It was established that the 49-year-old CEO on January 16, 2023 agreed with unknown persons on a monthly payment of about 13 thousand rubles for them to enter information about him as the CEO of the company in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. He did not intend to run the company, but he provided the tax authorities with information about himself as the general director. After the documents were registered, he did not take any part in the management of the company.

At present, he chose a measure of restraint in the form of a signature on non-departure. Recall, the accident on the bridge occurred on May 10. In the course of checking the circumstances of the accident, it was reported that 44-year-old driver Rakhmatshokh Kurbonov had returned home the day before after a 20-hour shift, and five hours later he was called back to work. In addition, eyewitnesses claim that before the accident the bus did not brake, but picked up speed.
