Track and field athlete David Rudisha survived a plane crash in his home country of Kenya, Nation.Africa reports. The man is a two-time winner of the Olympic Games in the 800-meter run.

It is known that he was flying on a light-engine plane, which crashed seven minutes after takeoff due to engine failure. During the crash, the wing of the plane hit a tree, which caused it to spin and fall in a rocky terrain. All six people on board survived.

Rudisha had already been in a serious car accident with a shuttle bus in 2019. The athlete was also not seriously injured.
