The head of Rosprirodnadzor in Altai Krai Svetlana Radionova informed about the rescue of an injured bear cub by employees of the department.
According to the official, the inspectors of the hunting control found the injured paw of a baby bear in a helpless state. Radionova said that in view of the physical condition of the cub people decided to remove the bear cub, which was in danger of death in the taiga.
Rosprirodnadzor specialists were actively involved in saving the bear cub. The cub was given to Noah's Ark, a volunteer organization, for treatment. The examination showed that the injury was not dangerous to the bear. The bear cub was then taken to an orphanage at Altai State Nature Reserve.
