Two girls in an inebriated state on the same day decided to open the swimming season in St. Petersburg.
The first incident was recorded by video cameras on Alexander Nevsky Bridge in the afternoon of May 12. The video shows a lady swaying from side to side, heading towards the city center, suddenly climbed over the railing and jumped into the water.
The 26-year-old diver was pulled out of the water near the hotel “Moscow” by three male eyewitnesses, reports TV channel 78.ru. She swam to the pier on her own.
On the same day, another young woman with blue hair attracted the attention of police in Primorsky district. Half undressed, she was walking along the street near the shopping mall “PeterLand”.
In an attempt to detain her, the woman fled, and in an attempt to get away from the patrol officers chasing her, jumped into the water from the Yakhtenny Bridge.
The mermaid reached the shore on her own, but there she was fished out by law enforcement officers and taken to the police station.
