In Turkey, animal rights activists helped a drunken bear. The Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said that the disoriented bear was found in the province of Duzje. There he was caught and handed over to veterinarians.

The doctors found out that the animal was in a state of alcoholic intoxication. According to specialists, he ate too much honey derived from the nectar of local rhododendron species, which contain neurotoxins. They cause hallucinogenic effects in mammals, UPI writes.

Once the bear sobers up, it will be returned to the wild. The life of the predator is not in danger, the veterinarians added.

Recall that earlier the Russian Embassy in Australia was told that a kangaroo tried to get into the territory of the diplomatic mission.
