A total of 30 people were on the small boat trying to reach Europe.
The Tunis Afrique Presse news agency reported on Tuesday, August 9, that six people died in a boat wreck off the coast of Tunisia. Three women and three children drowned. These are confirmed deaths.
The agency specified that on board of the capsized boat were 30 illegal migrants, who were going to reach Europe through the Mediterranean Sea.
Twenty people were rescued, four more have not yet been found. The Coast Guard and the Tunisian Navy are searching for the missing.
