At least 55 people have been killed and 150 injured in explosions outside a school in the west of the Afghan capital.
According to Reuters, citing a security source, a booby-trapped car has exploded in front of a government girls' school in western Kabul.
The Afghan Interior Ministry has so far officially confirmed the deaths of 30 people. Most of the dead and injured are students of the school.
However, a source said 55 people are the victims of the blasts. Another 150 people sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity.
Afghan leader Ashraf Ghani called the incident an act of terrorism and blamed it on the radical Taliban movement (banned in Russia). 1TV said the Taliban condemned the attack.
No organization has yet claimed responsibility for the school bombings in the Afghan capital.
