A major fire broke out on a pleasure boat off the coast of Japan

A private pleasure boat burned down near Kanagawa prefecture in Japan on Sunday afternoon, August 7. This was reported on Monday by the Japanese TV channel NHK.

Seven passengers who were on board at the time of the fire jumped into the sea. They were later picked up by the Japanese Coast Guard. The channel specifies that the evacuation was successful and there were no casualties.

The circumstances of the accident are being investigated, but it is known that the ship burned out almost completely.
