Police prevented contract killing of eight-year-old girl in Tuva

Police and the FSB have prevented the contract killing of an eight-year-old girl in Tuva which a local resident tried to organise to get inheritance.

Police and the FSB have prevented the contract killing of a young child in Tuva which her stepmother tried to organise after the death of her father, the regional interior ministry said.

It was established that a resident of Kyzyl, the Republic of Tuva, in order to get two flats, which belonged to her formerly deceased husband, was going to organize the murder of his eight-year-old daughter, who is the heir of the first order.

It is noted that to carry out her plan, the 61-year-old woman began looking for an executor, who she promised to pay 180 thousand rubles for the slaughter of the child. The killer was an officer of the MIA Criminal Investigation Department in Tuva who during a covert special operation met with the ordering person in her flat where the woman gave him an advance of ten thousand rubles.

Without an ounce of regret, the woman gave the man all the details about the child, including which school the girl attended, and even pointed her out when she was standing at a bus stop.

The stepmother also advised the killer to use a stun gun during the crime. To prove the "job done", the undercover police officer provided the customer with a fake photo and a hat of the girl.

The 61-year-old woman has now been detained. She faces criminal charges under articles of preparation and attempt to commit a crime, as well as murder. She has already been charged and will be behind bars pending trial.
