An American threw a can of beer at Republican Senator Ted Cruz in Houston Texas during his public appearance.
The city police told the details of the incident, which occurred on November 7.
The perpetrator was a 33-year-old man. The can he threw hit the senator in the neck and chest area. He was arrested and Cruz did not require medical attention.
The Houston Police Department specified that the man would be charged with assaulting the senator for his reckless act.
