Head of Crimean Aeroflot office found dead in Simferopol

The head of the Crimean branch of Aeroflot, 56-year-old Robert Valeev, was found dead in Simferopol. Preliminarily, he had committed suicide.

56-year-old Robert Valeev, head of the Crimean branch of Aeroflot, died in Simferopol, as it became known on the morning of December 7. His lifeless body was found in the office on December 5, previously, the man took his own life, leaving a suicide note. A few days earlier, he had ordered the shutdown of cameras in his office.

On the day of his death, the man was supposed to fly to Moscow to meet with his superiors.

The last time the employees saw their boss was on the afternoon of December 5th. He locked himself in his office and asked to wake him up in an hour. Two hours later, the workers could not reach him, so they knocked down the door and found the already lifeless body of a man.

On the fact of Valeev's death, an employee of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case, the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Crimea and Sevastopol is engaged in the proceedings.
