Two Russians fled to Alaska because of violations of the law in Russia

The two Russians detained in Alaska fled not from the partial mobilization draft, but in order to avoid responsibility for violations of the law on the territory of Russia.

According to a source, the Russian Embassy in Washington confirmed that it is aware of the detention of two Chukchi residents by Alaskan authorities. A telephone conversation is to take place with them. Russian diplomats intend to provide the necessary assistance, Nadezhda Shumova, head of the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Washington, told TASS.

Two Russian citizens were detained in Alaska. It happened on St. Lawrence Island, which is several tens of kilometers from the Russian Federation. They crossed the Bering Strait by boat. The men reported that they had sailed from the settlement of Egvekinot in Chukotka. At the moment, the offenders are in custody in Anchorage.

What kind of offenses in Russia they are talking about is not reported.

It should be noted that now in Russia some people are trying to hide from the partial mobilization, they go to Kazakhstan and Georgia.
