Hatayaspor soccer club midfielder and former Ghanaian national team player Christian Atsu was found alive under the rubble of a building in Hatay, A Bola reports.
Ghanaian footballer, former Chelsea player and midfielder of Turkish club Hatayspor Christian Atsu has gone missing after an earthquake in Turkey. According to Turkish broadcaster Star, the club's coach Taner Savut is wanted along with him.
Later there was information that the player was found alive under the rubble of a building in Hatay. According to the publication A Bola, Ats was immediately taken to hospital. It is reported that he had an injury on his right leg and had difficulty breathing.
Players Burak Oksuz and Bertug Yildiz were extracted from under the wreckage. The condition of the players is assessed as satisfactory. Also, there were found alive two members of the technical team of the club.
Recall that on the night of February 6 in southeastern Turkey there was a powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.7. Its epicenter was located 26 kilometers from the city of Gaziantep with a population of over a million people.
