At Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, the flight to the resort town of Varadero in Cuba was delayed, as a result of which 400 passengers have been waiting for more than 12 hours.
The airport reported that the reason for the delay of the flight to Cuba was the malfunction of the aircraft. According to the airline representatives, Sheremetyevo airport has a system that starts the engine, the same is in Havana airport and many other airports. Meanwhile, in Varadero there is no such system, so the plane that will arrive there, will stay there, because there is no starting system.
About the malfunction of the aircraft in Sheremetyevo found out on the eve of the flight departure. Tourists are offered to fly to Havana by plane or to cancel the flight to Cuba.
According to passengers, people have been waiting for the departure for 12 hours. It was supposed to take place at 05:30, but then it was moved to 14:30.
The passengers were sure that they were on the wrong plane to begin with. The hotel for the waiting people was not provided.
According to the latest information, the aircraft did take off, but it will land in Havana.
