On Kamchatka found the bodies of all 22 victims of the crash of MI-8 helicopter of the airline “Vityaz-Aero”. This is reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
“Rescuers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry found the bodies of all 22 dead, including 19 tourists and 3 crew members. They were taken to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for identification,” the report said. September 3 this year in the region is declared a day of mourning.
On August 31, a helicopter carrying 19 tourists and three crew members lost contact with the helicopter. It happened near the Vachkazhets volcano. Presumably, the aircraft collided with a hillside.
The wreckage of the helicopter was found from the air at an altitude of 900 meters. His search was complicated by weather conditions, as well as the peculiarities of the terrain.
