According to the North-West Customs Department, employees of the customs post in Pulkovo found candy and capsules with strong narcotic substances in express parcels from the U.S.
Several blisters of lollipops containing cavaine and 400 capsules with cannabis were found in the shipment, which was intended for a resident of St. Petersburg.
An investigation was initiated into the discovery.
According to its results will be decided on the issue of initiation of criminal proceedings. The owner of the parcel could face up to 12 years in prison for drug smuggling.
