In Vienna, 50 people attacked church and defeated utensils

The attackers disappeared. The head of the Austrian Ministry of Internal Affairs condemned the incident.

In Vienna, about 50 young people of Turkish descent attacked the Catholic Church of St Anthony of Padua, TASS writes with reference to the Austrian edition of Kurier.

The rector of the church called the police, but the attackers disappeared. Everything that happened was recorded by surveillance cameras.

It is noted that the attackers shouted "Allah Akbar", beat benches and confessional.

The head of the Austrian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Karl Nehammer, condemned the incident.

At the moment, the church is closed for security reasons.

Previously, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs instructed the police to strengthen patrolling of public places throughout the country. This decision was made after attacks in France, which killed people.

The French president promised to properly fight the Islamists.
