A cargo plane crashed at Malakal airport in South Sudan, injuring one person

The airplane incident involved a Boeing 727 cargo plane of carrier Cush Air.

According to Radio Tamazuj, the crash was reported at Malakal Airport (South Sudan) at 11:00 a.m. MST. Acting general director of the air harbor Bol Mijok Lual said that the aircraft landed a few meters before the start of the runway. The collision with the unprepared surface caused the tires to burst, the airliner lost control and crashed into the debris of the structure of the previously collapsed plane.
