2019 Miss USA pageant winner Cheslie Kryst committed suicide in downtown New York.
According to the New York Post, citing law enforcement sources, Cheslie Kryst's body was discovered Sunday morning, January 30, on a street adjacent to her home.
Police are currently investigating what happened. The source added that Miss USA 2019 left a suicide note asking her to give all her possessions to her mother.
A native of the American city of Jackson, Michigan, 30-year-old Cheslie Kryst had a law degree. After winning the Miss USA beauty pageant, the girl worked as a correspondent for the entertainment television show "Extra."
"Our hearts were broken. Cheslie was not only a vital part of our show, but also a beloved member of the 'Extra' family," the show's website said in a statement. Colleagues also expressed their condolences to Kryst's family and friends.
