His ears, neck, face and hands became darker as a result of the treatment.
American Tyler Monk encountered an unusual side effect of a popular antidepressant. The man, experiencing depression, went to the doctor for help in May of last year. He was prescribed the drug, which he began to take according to the regimen indicated by the doctor.
However, already at the beginning of taking the medication, the man noticed that his skin was getting a darker color. As a result, he stopped taking the drug, but the effect persisted, and his ears, neck, face and hands remained of a gray-blue hue. He also had red and irritated eyes and increased skin sensitivity.
The man sought help from doctors, but they could not diagnose him and did not identify any serious pathology.
Now the patient intends to undergo additional tests and examinations to identify the causes of skin color changes and eliminate the problem, writes the Daily Mail.
