A female resident of Tyumen had a tumor removed because of which she could not move, stand up or sleep on her back.
In Tyumen, doctors performed a seven-hour surgery to remove a huge tumor. According to Medgorod, the woman had been living with a neoplasm for 12 years.
By the time she turned to doctors for help, the tumor had reached an enormous size and weighed 25 kilograms. It had spread from her pelvis to her diaphragm, so she could not move, stand or sleep on her back.
Another complication was that she had to lie on her side during the operation, because when she lay on her back, the tumor was pressing on her blood vessels and lowering her blood pressure.
Despite all the difficulties, the tumor was removed completely. A month later, she recovered and was discharged from the hospital. Now she will be able to go back to her full life.
