First of all, the specialist emphasized the critical importance of a balanced diet, advising to enrich the daily diet with foods rich in B vitamins, vitamin D, as well as trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, iodine and zinc.

At the same time, for the health of the endocrine system, the doctor strongly recommends significantly limiting the consumption of table salt and foods with high sugar content, as well as regular monitoring of blood glucose levels. Important components of prevention, according to Julia Sarazhakova, are sufficient and regular physical activity, as well as mastering and applying methods of minimizing stress, as chronic stress negatively affects the hormonal background. In addition, the endocrinologist pointed out the absolute necessity of complete abandonment of bad habits, such as smoking and alcohol abuse, which adversely affect the entire body, including the thyroid gland. In conclusion, Yulia Sarazhakova strongly advised not to neglect scheduled medical examinations and undergo regular check-ups, which allows to timely identify possible problems and prevent the development of serious diseases of the endocrine system.
