Volgograd Oblast received 1,440 units of Sputnik-M covid vaccine designed to vaccinate children over 12 years old, but there are more people who want to vaccinate teenagers - about 8,000 applications have been registered.
The drug was equally distributed among the Volgograd Children's Hospital No.1, Children's polyclinics No.1, 6 and 16 in the regional center. The vaccine was also supplied to Kamyshinskaya Children's Hospital and Volzhskaya Children's Polyclinic No.2. Waiting lists are being formed in medical institutions.
According to experts, the vaccine "Sputnik-M" is a five times lighter version of the vaccine for adults "Sputnik-V".
