During a meeting with members of the government, Vladimir Putin said that he had been vaccinated with a nasal vaccine against coronavirus.
The president announced his desire to volunteer to study the new drug during a meeting with deputy director of the Gamaleya Center Denis Logunov on November 22. According to Putin, the very next day Logunov gave him the vaccine himself.
The president said he was vaccinated against covid with Sputnik V in spring 2021, but exactly six months later his antibody titers dropped and doctors recommended that he be revaccinated, which he did on November 22 with Sputnik Light vaccine.
The President said that after the revaccination and the introduction of a nasal drug, he went in for sports on Wednesday. Vladimir Putin urged Russians not only to get vaccinated against coronavirus, but also to undergo revaccination on time.
