Doctors reported atypical pancreatic cancer symptoms

Yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes, decreased appetite, and sudden weight loss may be symptoms of pancreatic cancer.

British doctors have reported that yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes occurs when a breakdown product bilirubin accumulates in the blood, Express reports.

They advise to consult a doctor immediately and undergo the necessary examinations if a person feels fatigue or lack of energy, loss of appetite, unexplained weight loss, vomiting.

American scientists have previously reported that pancreatic cancer can develop for a long time almost unnoticed. Tumor formation may be indicated by abdominal pain. At later stages, pain is concentrated in its upper part. Nausea, appetite problems, digestive difficulties, diarrhea, and altered defecation pattern also appear.

Risk factors for the development of this disease are smoking, alcohol, abuse of fatty and spicy foods. Often, the symptoms of pancreatic cancer are not specific and not pronounced, which is why the tumor is detected in the later stages.
