You need to take 1g of calcium and 600 mg of vitamin D daily with food.

According to doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov on the program "О самом главном" (About the most important) on the channel "Russia-1," uncontrolled intake of calcium is dangerous to health, because an overdose of this popular vitamin can lead to seizures and other side effects.

According to the specialist, in osteoporosis, a disease caused by the loss of calcium in bone tissues, doctors recommend a special diet for patients and the use of a sufficient amount of calcium and vitamin D.

Miasnikov said that men and women need to take 1g of calcium and 600mg of vitamin D with food every day. Sometimes doctors recommend increasing the amount of calcium, but exceeding the dosage is dangerous.
