Mikhail Murashko: The bulk of all COVID-19 cases in Russia are unvaccinated people

Head of Russian Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko stated that the majority of people who fall ill with coronavirus in Russia are people who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19, RIA Novosti reports.

"The main mass of all those who have fallen ill now are people who have not been vaccinated in time," Mikhail Murashko said at the presidium of the coordinating council for the fight against covid.

According to the Russian health minister, last week the increase in active cases was 12% and since the beginning of October it has been 23%.

In recent weeks, the country has recorded an increase in the incidence of coronavirus. So, in the past 24 hours in Russia there were 33,740 cases of the disease and 1,015 deaths from the effects of covid, which was a new high for the entire period of the pandemic, also in the past 24 hours 23,426 people were completely cured.
