US doctors have allegedly identified two victims of zombie deer.
The men passed away in 2022. One of them was 72 years old. The man was known to have consumed deer meat. He subsequently became ill. It is reported that the man became aggressive and dementia was observed. Despite treatment, he passed away.
At the time, doctors believed that the man was ill with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. However, it later turned out that an acquaintance of the pensioner died of the same symptoms. He, too, had eaten deer meat.
According to the journal Neurology, doctors now believe that he was infected with chronic debilitating disease (CWD) - a prion disease that turns deer into zombie-like.
Earlier in New Zealand identified a microbe previously unknown to science, and Russian scientists explained whether there are bacteria that can resurrect the dead.
