Doctors talk about specifics of vaccination of those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19

This is currently preliminary information; more data is needed.

Those who have been vaccinated with COVID-19 may only need one dose of the drug to get the right level of antibodies to the new coronavirus. This is reported by RIA News citing the results of the study of American experts, as well as the head of the therapeutic department of the Israeli hospital Shamir Asaf A Rofeh, infectious disease doctor Galina Goltsman.

The expert commented on the study, the results of which have been published on the medRxiv website, as well as on an article published a month ago in the journal Nature. According to these data, those who have had COVID-19 may not require any vaccine for a long time, and for some of them, a single dose of the drug may be sufficient.

Goltzman also pointed out that there are studies showing disappearance of antibodies in 80% of those who have recovered from the disease in six months. For the time being, she said, the recommendation is that no vaccination should be administered for 3 months after the disease.
