Mexico has banned smoking in restaurants and on beaches

On Sunday, January 15, a law came into force in Mexico banning tobacco advertising, displaying cigarettes in stores and smoking in public places, including on beaches.

National Commissioner for Combating Addictions Gadi Sabicki Siroth stressed that this measure was taken to protect the health of the younger generation in Mexico.

According to RIA Novosti, according to the norms of the new law, smoking is prohibited in parks, stadiums, beaches and concert venues, restaurants, hotels, shopping centers and schools.

Now specially designated places for smoking will be created for smoking, always in the fresh air. At the same time, there will be no entertainment facilities on their territory and next to them, entertainment services and eating food are prohibited there.
