Figure skaters Valieva, Shcherbakova and Trusova took the entire podium at the European Championships

Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva won gold in women's singles at her first European Championships.

The competition ended in Tallinn. According to the results of two programs, the world record holder Kamila Valieva scored 259.06 points: 90.45 for the short program and 168.61 for the free program. Silver and bronze are also in the assets of the representatives of the Russian Federation - Anna Shcherbakova (237.42; 69.05 + 168.37) and Alexandra Trusova (234.36; 75.13 + 159.23).

Russian figure skaters took the entire podium at the second European Championship in a row. At the 2020 tournament, Alena Kostornaya, Shcherbakova and Trusova won medals. In 2021, the competition was not held due to the pandemic.

At the Beijing Olympics, which will be held from February 4 to 20, three Russian athletes will compete in women's singles. The composition for the Games will be determined after the European Championship.
