Two cases of tick-borne encephalitis were recorded.
Over the past week, 1560 citizens turned to medical institutions of St. Petersburg because of the ticks. There were 296 children among them. This information was published by the city department of Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights.
Directly in the city territory of pincers attacked 173 residents of St. Petersburg. 58 people in Pushkin area, 35 - in Kurortny and 19 - in Primorsky.
Two cases of tick-borne viral encephalitis were detected. Also four cases of tick-borne boreliosis were registered, including one case of a minor.
