According to Health Minister Mikhail Murashko at the presidium of the Coordinating Council on Coronavirus, Russia has reached a turning point in the fight against the pandemic. Vaccination is helping to curb the spread of covid.
According to the minister, about 30% of the bed fund for covid patients is in reserve, they can be deployed if necessary. Earlier in October, more than 300 thousand beds were opened for infected people.
Murashko informed that at present the number of hospitalized patients with coronavirus is 114 thousand, 16 thousand of them are in serious condition, almost 3.8 thousand are on life support.
