Cardiologist Fomicheva: Cardio exercises will help maintain heart health after 50

In order to maintain health after 50 years, it is necessary to adhere to a healthy lifestyle, eat right and do not forget about physical activity. Aerobic exercises, such as walking, swimming, cycling, are considered especially useful for the cardiovascular system, said in conversation with "Gazeta.Ru" doctor-cardiologist "SM-Clinica" Anastasia Fomicheva.

"At the same time, the duration of exercise should be 30-60 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week. The main thing is to move more and reduce the time of a sedentary lifestyle. You should not forget about walks in the fresh air," - stated Fomicheva.

The doctor also pointed out the need to learn to rest, especially in a stressful situation, to sleep, giving sleep at least seven hours a day, as well as to be able to switch from one activity to another.

In addition, Fomicheva reminded about the importance of regular check-ups with a doctor.

Earlier, cardiologist Kondrakhin warned about the danger of prolonged coughing.
