Fitness instructor Pankova told where beginners should start training

The trainer recommended exercises for beginners that won't lead to injury but will be effective.

According to fitness instructor Arina Pankova, in order for exercises to bring results and not cause injuries, beginners should start training with warming up. The trainer noted that this is a common mistake of people who just start regular exercise.

"They start doing stretching at the beginning of the workout. This should not be done, stretching can only be done on a warmed up body. For warming up, joint gymnastics and any cardio machine is suitable. For a beginner, I would recommend ten minutes." - suggested the instructor.

Pankova also told about exercises that are suitable for beginners. These are exercises familiar to the body: squats, deadlifts, biceps raises.

But coordination or balance exercises should be postponed until the body gets used to regular loads.

According to Pankova, it is better to start gym sessions under the supervision of a specialist.

"Firstly, it saves time, and secondly, the technique is performed 100% correctly, which avoids unnecessary injuries," the instructor explained in a conversation with Radio Sputnik
