In an interview with Pravda.Ru, ophthalmologists claim that eye exercises are just an additional method that does not have a significant effect on visual function. Instead, doctors recommend specialized gymnastics, which can be carried out independently at home or with the help of special equipment prescribed by a doctor, says ophthalmologist Vyacheslav Kurenkov.
Instead of charging, it is important to pay attention to a healthy lifestyle, alternating between wakefulness and rest, work and sleep, as well as to follow a varied diet rich in vitamins and trace elements.

Among the foods that can be good for the eyes, foods that contain lutein are often mentioned. A large amount of lutein can be found in white cabbage, while carrots are not a particular source of this substance.
