According to the department's website, Singapore's Ministry of Health announced that it will end free covid treatment for unvaccinated citizens, Mir24.tv reported.

All unvaccinated residents will pay for treatment for the coronavirus on their own, with the exception of children under the age of 12 and those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.

The authorities explained this decision by the fact that the unvaccinated from covid constitute the majority of those in need of medical care, creating a burden on health care.
