According to Anna Minkova, vice-governor of the Krasnodar region, at the beginning of November last year there were about 300 people in intensive care units, the average age of covid-patients was 79 years old. At the beginning of November this year more than 500 people aged 62 and over were in intensive care units.
There has been an increase in covid infections among young people in Kuban, 93% of young patients admitted to medical institutions have not been vaccinated.
According to the regional operations center, daily increase in the number of covid cases in the region is 286; since beginning of the pandemic 82 385 people have been diagnosed with covid-19. A total of 58,522 patients have overcome the disease. There were 7,508 victims of the pandemic.
